Philippines Dirty,Poor & Weak

I'm from Philippines and i hate it well because it's very dirty, yes I'ts true philippines is the most dirtiest place in the world, why you ask? everywhere you go theres garbage, all river in philippines are full of garbage the government doesn't even care. Wet market is the dirtiest place you'll see, do you even buy food in a dirty environment OFF COURSE NOT! people there are very smelly doesn't take a bath then touches your food. Manila Capital of Philippines and Capital of Polution, when you go to Manila you see in the air is black and smells like smoke because Philippines is Overcrowded and Manila has most cars and other transformation, the government doen't even declare one child policy even once a year. Every minute 5 babies are born in Philippines so it would be very crowded people are getting poor for every baby maybe 75% of Philippines is poor. Payatas garbage disposal of Philippines thre lots of lots of mountain garbage in Payatas everyday the garbage is getting bigger That's why Philippines is DIRTY. Why's Philippines poor started in education. Education in Phillipines is low and expensive so people that doesn't go to school anymore, people that are lack of education there way of survival is being a vendor, faith healer, collecting bottles plastic and metal to sell in a junkshop. People doen't have a home are being transfered to a squatters area. Squatters area is a very dirty place lot's of poor people government doesnt want to make a subdivision instead of squtters area so that Philippines doen't look poor. Philippines has many Factories that releases Black Chemicaled Smoke that can damage our Ozone Layer. People in Philippines always spit everywhare disrespecting and very discusting. Why Philippines is weak well my problem is philippines always produce movies that are low in qualitty and always a love story even music in philippines are love song i hate that. people here are very lazy that's why they don't have much money. People here always depends on other country for theire living that we called OFW, Our President is very weak she not a strong women all you hear to her are lies & lies doent even happen wha she says she suck! . ok that's the 3 Major Problems that doent even care.

  1. Wow. I'm sorry you think that way. Don't get me wrong, I completely agree about the government being full of shit and so corrupt. But it seems like you blame everyone. First of all, i'm from the philippines too. You my friend should go to the provinces where the air is clean and almost no pollution. And people don't have money not because they're lazy, it's the lack of jobs that the government gives. You have to change your perspective on your country because it's a beautiful country. Don't blame the people; blame the government. And I don't know what kind of people you met in the philippines that disrespected you, but filipinos are family oriented and are very welcoming. Also, the reason why the Philippines depends on other countries is because is also because of the government. Have you ever heard or read the history of philippines? How we were colonized by the Spaniards, the Japanese and the US? You ever hear what the US did to manila a long time ago? How they bombed it and left it in ruins, then came back to offer help to rebuild and now we have debt to them? Not emotional Debt but money debt. Did you know that in the philippines, you can't be a president unless the US agrees for you to be president?

Oh and the markets? It's full of dead fish and meat, of course it's dirty!! But not to the point where it'll kill you. Some of those things are fresh and kept alive until you buy them and they kill it in front of you. I know it's not appetizing but everywhere you go it's like that. In other countries you don't see the markets all you see is the dead animals and fish already displayed. And the worse is, in the US they add chemicals to the food that they serve.

Fuck...i was trying to be really calm but your post just pissed me off you fucking ignorant. Have some pride for you country. Read about our heroes and what they did. Look for things invented by Filipinos on the internet and i'm sure you'l be surprised.

Educate yourself before you throw words of hate about your own country. I was born there but by the time I was 10 I came to canada. How do I know all of these? I educated myself.

Now...i'm sorry for using vulgar words, but I take pride in my country. I take pride at hard working Filipinos who has to survive day by day. The things I don't take pride of are, one, the government and two, people like you, a filipino who doesn't know what he's saying about his country.

    Fuck you.

And again, I'm sorry for the vulgar words. Not necessarily mad at you...just at what you said.

  2. not sure how old you are but i'm under the impression that this blog post was written by either an adolescent or a first-time tourist. Either way, it seems like it needs a bit of a reality check: while some of your comments may be factual, they seem way too subjective to try and educate you on the economical and political situation of the philippines. like many other third world countries, the republic of the philippines is in dire need of support, that is undeniable. For that fact, there is no credible reason why you should be describing this beautiful country with images of paris or america in the back of your mind. Instead of looking down on vendors and plastic bottle collectors, I might have probably given them a few bucks to help them raise their family.

Good luck with your next post. Next time though, do some research beforehand.

  4. Hey cyb3r. I apologize for bringing all of these people and coming down on you hard.

I can understand what you mean by the whole government. But you should be more understanding of the people that live in the philippines who is going through the same things, if not worse things than you.

You should research the history of Philippines more. Look on the internet or if you need help let me know and I can look some up for you.

I have the government of the Philippines, I hate them because I want my country to be better. I want my country to prosper and be independent.

You are young so you should learn as much as you can on your country...learn about your heroes...about the the hard working Filipinos. And when you do, you will learn more and you will be able to able to say what you want to say with more knowledge.

School is like that, no matter where you go. You're 13 and I'm sure you don't work and you only go to school. I go to school and it starts at 8:30am and I stay in school untill 9-10pm...it's longer than what you're doing now. Not only that, I work also. I work for the money to pay for school. You are lucky that your parents are paying for your school and will continue to pay for your school until you are done.

You're young and I probably shouldn't have responded and acted the way I did. You have a lot to learn.

Don't give up in school and you shoulnd't mind going to school for the whole day. Learn as much as you can. Read books that your school doesn't offer and learn.

Let me know if you need help.

  5. Hey I 100% agree that most part of the Philippines is polluted, and many Filipinos had become careless on taking care of their surrounding. But the Philipine Islands was not always dirty. Infact there are still prestine beauty that still exist in the Philippines today. I feel your are discourage and disapointed with all the negative things you see around the Philippines, maybe you should look at the the beautiful areas of the country too. For example El Nido, Batanes Island, Apo Reef, Bohol, Calaguas, Caramoan, etc. You must balance the negative with positive.

  7. As an outsider ,I think it is healthy to have a voice good or bad. Only when we are free to express our views and feelings can change happen. I know there are also prideful people well the Bible says pride comes before the fall. So maybe be slow to being so pridefull ? Pride is still a sin. A wise man once told me I cannot eat my pride. Change needs to happen this is understood. So unless it starts soon what is to change the beautiful areas of the Philippines looking like the big cities over time? The natural beauty and the loving people who work their assets of are your as assetts. As a country and a people you cannot afford to loose these. Peace.
